ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี ค.ศ. 1975 วิทยาลัย Northern Lights College มีวิทยาเขตอยู่ที่ Atlin, Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Dease Lake, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John และ Tumbler Ridge  วิทยาลัยเปิดสอนในหลากหลายสาขาวิชา Business, Accounting, Computers, Education, Project Management เป็นต้น หากต้องการเข้าเรียนที่ Northern Lights College สามารถลงเรียน University Pathway  Program กับ VEC ก่อน หลังจากจบ Pathway Program แล้ว และทำคะแนนได้ตามที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด นักเรียนก็สามารถเข้าเรียนต่อที่ Northern Lights College ได้เลย
